What people ask us most before flying.
What if the weather does not cooperate on my flight day?
Safety comes first. If it rains or the wind tops 20 km/h, the captain postpones the flight and we reschedule it at no cost for the date you choose, with up to 3 months to fly.
What time does the flight take off?
We lift off at first light, when the wind is calmest and the air most stable. Once your reservation is confirmed, we send you the exact meeting time at the launch site.
Can I reserve now and pay the rest later?
Yes. You hold your spot online with a deposit and settle the balance later. Payment is secure and your confirmation arrives instantly.
Does the flight include transport from Mexico City?
It depends on the package. 'Vive Teotihuacán Completo' and 'Vuelo con Transporte CDMX' include round-trip transfer from the city; the others depart straight from our launch site, 2 km from the pyramids.
Is it safe? Who flies the balloon?
Only pilots with a current AFAC commercial license (Mexico's aviation authority) are at the controls. We fly from our own launch site, with more than 9 years of experience and thousands of passengers flown.
Is there a weight limit per passenger?
The listed price applies to passengers up to 99 kg at no charge. Above that, 50 pesos are charged per extra kilo, collected by the crew on the day of the flight. For safety, it's important that the weight on the booking is accurate.
How does free rescheduling work?
If the weather makes it unsafe to fly, we reschedule your flight at no cost and you have 3 months to use it. If you are the one changing the date, do it at least 48 hours in advance; after that window a 30% penalty applies.
